"Torch Soul Allniter" is an original, signed water colour painting by Neil Thompson. 

The painting shows a scene outside the Golden Torch before one of the Saturday all niters with soul fans and scooters gathering outside the club. The Torch became the biggest Northern Soul club in Britain in 1972 with hundreds of teenagers travelling to the club to listen and dance to their favourite music. The Torch had been a Mod club for years but it became a sensation when Northern Soul all-niters began in the early 1970's.

The painting is highly detailed and beautifully captures the Northern Soul scene and Mod genre - close up details from the painting can be seen in images 2, 3 and 4.

All Neil's work is done from memory, he's been on the Northern Soul and scooter scene since the early 1970's. His work is regarded by many as an iconic part of the Northern Soul and Scooter scene.

The painting measures 35 cm wide x 25 cm tall and has been completed on 300 gram art paper.
