The painting  shows a scene at Wigan Casino, the crowds gathering before an all nighter. The crowd is gathering, anticipation is building - it's going to be another great night. The painting has been mounted using a classic cream mount and framed using a slim "New Yorker" style glazed frame.

The painting measures 19.5 cm wide by 14.5 cm tall. With the mount and the frame the overall size is 27 cm wide by 22 cm tall.

Neil has been into the Northern Soul scene since the early 1970's, all his art is drawn from memory. He was a regular at the Casino and many other Northern Soul clubs throughout the 1970's. His art is regarded by many people as an iconic part of the Northern Soul scene.
