A Set of Membership Cards From Four of the Great Northern Soul Clubs.

Those of us who were into Northern Soul in the 60’s and 70’s had to have a membership card to enter any of the big clubs (apart from the Highland Room at Blackpool Mecca). How many of us had those membership cards but have lost them over the years? Well, those cards are no longer lost, we have commissioned sets of replica membership cards from four of the great Northern Soul clubs: the Twisted Wheel, the Torch, Wigan Casino, and the Catacombs.

Details of each of the membership cards are as follows -

The Twisted Wheel Membership Card is as issued in 1969, that is with a blue twisted wheel. The reverse of the card is numbered and is valid at Manchester Twisted Wheel (Whitworth Street) and Blackpool Twisted Wheel (Coronation Street).

The Torch Membership Card (silver background) is as issued in 1972.

The Wigan Casino Membership Card is as issued at the first all-nighter on 23^rd September 1973. The inside of the card is numbered and is dated Sep 73.

The Catacombs Membership Card is as issued in 1970 (expiring 30th November 1970) that is a green membership card.
