"Down at the Casino" is an original oil painting by Northern Soul artist Neil Thompson. The painting shows a scene outside Wigan Casino. This is the 1970's - the crowd is gathering ,teenagers arrive from all over the country for an all nighter at Britain's biggest Northern Soul club. 

The painting will bring back lots of memories, it's sure to bring a smile to your face!

Neil has been part of the Northern Soul scene since the early 1970's. He was a regular at the Casino for many years. All his art is done from memory - he captures the detail of the Northern Soul scene brilliantly!
