A Mounted and Framed Water Colour Painting

 "On the Balcony at Wigan Casino" is an original water colour painting by Northern Soul artist Neil Thompson. The painting shows a scene on the balcony at Wigan Casino. The painting really brings to life the Casino as it was back in the 1970's - you could be back there!! 

Neil has been part of the Northern Soul scene since the early 1970's he was a regular at the Casino for many years. All his art is completed from his memories - he has no need for old photographs!

The painting has been mounted using a white mount, and framed using a slim black "New Yorker style"  glazed frame.

The painting has been completed on 300 gram art paper and measures 19 cm wide by 14 cm tall. The overall size with the mount and the frame is 27 cm by 22 cm.

The painting can be wall hung (see image 1) and the frame has an in built stand enabling it to be stood on any flat surface (please see image 3.)

The painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (please see image 5) and for purposes of authenticity has Neil's logo dancing girl printed on the reverse (please see image 6.)

As an original work of art the painting is unique, there are no copies or prints.
