 An original pencil sketch by Northern Soul artist Neil Thompson.

The Torch was a legendary Northern Soul Club in Tunstall, Stoke on Trent. After Manchester's Twisted Wheel closed the Torch was the top Northern Soul club in the country with hundreds flocking to the club for every Saturday all nighter. The Torch was at its heyday in 1972 - 1973, before Wigan Casino opened. All Neil's are is done from memory, he was a regular at the Torch at that time.
